Asimov's Science Fiction, originally titled Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, is an American periodical that publishes science fiction and fantasy short stories since December 1976. It was a quarterly in 1977, then a bimonthly in 1978, and a monthly for most of its history until it became a bimonthly again in 2017. The original publisher was Davis Publications, which sold all magazines to Dell Magazines in 1992.
Isaac Asimov was asked to be the editor of this magazine so they could use his name. He refused to be the editor, but agreed to be the editorial director. He contributed pieces until his death, including the short story "Think!" in the first issue.
