The Globalist Party was one of the two major political parties on the Spacer world of Aurora. The Globalist Party favoured Aurora above the other worlds of the galaxy and believed that it should be granted the rights to take the lead in colonising the worlds of the galaxy. It also adhered to anti-Earth sentiment. It was the rival of the Humanist Party. Most members of the Robotics Institute were Globalists, largely due to its head Kelden Amadiro being one of the leaders of the party.

By the year 4724, tensions between the Globalists and the Humanists were extremely high. In Humanist Han Fastolfe's fight with Kelden Amadiro in the form of Elijah Baley's case concerning R. Jander Panell, the real matter at stake was not the death of the robot but the future of the colonisation of the galaxy, as the reputation of either who lost would be lowered enough for the other party to triumph. As expected, Fastolfe's victory in the case led to a Humanist political victory on Aurora, and the Globalists lost most of their power as the Settlers spread out and colonised the Galaxy from Earth.
