Biochemistry and Human Metabolism is a non-fiction medical text-book written by Burnham Burnham Sarle Walker, William Clouser Boyd, and Isaac Asimov, while they were all professors at the Boston University School of Medicine. The book was taught in their classes, and received three editions, with updates and corrections for each edition. The first edition was published in 1952, the 'Second Edition' was published in 1954, and the final "Third Edition" was published in 1957. Asimov mentions the book, and his seven years working on it, in the first two volumes of his autobiography.
