Brother is the term for an adult male member of the Mycogenian Sector on Trantor. Brothers form the male populace of Mycogen and are considered full citizens, though a clear hierarchy exists among them, from the ruling Elders and Proctors down to common laborers. All Brothers are depilated and wear the white kirtle. Their lives are governed by strict religious and social codes, and they are the only members of society permitted regular access to the Sacratorium.
