Delicass was a small and quiet agricultural planet located near the Galactic Center, in close proximity to Trantor. For most of its history, it was an utterly unimportant world, known only for supplying food to the Imperial capital. Its insignificance ended following the Great Sack of Trantor in 255 FE, when the last Emperor, Dagobert VIII, fled there with his court and renamed it Neotrantor in a symbolic effort to preserve the Empire's legacy.
