The Director of Rhodia was the title for the hereditary monarch of the planet Rhodia and its small kingdom of a dozen subject worlds within the Nebular Kingdoms. The title was exclusively held by the Hinriad dynasty. While the Director was the nominal head of state, the role's true power varied drastically. Prior to the Tyranni conquest, they ruled autonomously. During the Tyranni occupation, Directors like Hinrik V became puppets, with all real authority wielded by the Tyrannian Commissioner. The title implied governance over a Directorate, a form of government with legislative chambers that were also neutered under foreign rule.
