The Endeavor is a luxury liner in the private service of the Great Squire of Fife.
A vessel of considerable size and comfort, the Endeavor was frequently used for the personal travel of the Fife family. It was this ship that carried the Lady Samia of Fife from Sark to Florina for her research and was tasked with returning her to Sark. The voyage was disrupted by the discovery of two stowaways, Rik and Valona March, who were placed in the ship's brig. The Endeavor was equipped with advanced instrumentation, including energometric sensors capable of detecting excess body heat, which led to the discovery of the stowaways once the ship was clear of the radiation interference from Florina's sun. Under the command of Captain Racety, the ship served as a temporary prison and a focal point for the political tensions between Sark and Trantor, ultimately transporting its controversial passengers to Sark for interrogation.
