Foundation's Fear (1997) is a science fiction novel by Gregory Benford, set in Isaac Asimov's Foundation universe, under permission from Asimov's wife. It is the first book of the Second foundation trilogy, which was written after Asimov's death by three authors. It is set in 12,028 GE, between parts I and II of Forward the Foundation.
