Gebore Astinwald is a Sector Security agent from the Dahl district on Trantor. A silent and stern enforcer, Agent Astinwald accompanied his partner, Lanel Russ, to arrest Hari Seldon and Dors Venabili at the Tisalver apartment. His role was primarily to provide armed backup, first aiming a neural whip at Dors and later drawing his blaster. He spoke only to identify himself at the beginning of the confrontation. His compliance was violently secured when Dors Venabili swiftly subdued him by pressing a knife to his throat and then rendering him unconscious with a sharp blow from the knife's handle to his head, ending his participation in the failed arrest operation.
