About Lancy[]
Lancy was a crewman serving aboard a Tyranni cruiser. He was present in the main engine room, a vast chamber filled with large matter-to-energy converters and monitoring spheres, when Biron Farrill entered urgently. Farrill was attempting to warn the crew of a deliberate short circuit in the hyper-atomics that would have destroyed the ship upon attempting a jump.
When Farrill entered the control booth, a lieutenant recognized him as one of the prisoners and gave the order to grab him. Lancy rose from his station and moved to block the exit. In response, Biron Farrill jumped over a bank of computers, grabbed the lieutenant, and brandished a neuronic whip, threatening violence if his warning was not heeded. The lieutenant then triggered a general alarm, and armed guards stormed onto the balcony. Farrill subsequently jumped over the railing to the main floor below to escape immediate capture.
