Mathematical Deduction is a mathematical theorem in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.
Description[]
Mathematical Deduction is a scholarly manual on mathematics written by Anat Bigell. The work, which deals with aspects of number theory, is most famous for containing the formal proof of the fundamental theorem that would become also known as Bigell's Theorem. The book was a known reference in the field centuries after its publication, used by scholars like Hari Seldon to verify the independent, albeit less rigorous, work of autodidacts like Yugo Amaryl.
