Asimov

Raindrop Forty-Five is a character in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.

About Raindrop Forty-Five[]

Raindrop Forty-Five was the younger and less serious of the two Sisters assigned to Hari Seldon and Dors Venabili, Raindrop Forty-Five often expressed herself with giggles and a more light-hearted demeanor compared to her companion, Raindrop Forty-Three. She participated in teaching the tribespeople how to operate their kitchen and procure food, though she deferred to the older sister in matters of protocol. Her primary role was to assist Dors Venabili; she provided her with a sister's gown and was set to accompany her on a shopping trip to acquire more, a plan that was preempted by Raindrop Forty-Three's clandestine tour with Seldon. While she adhered to the same strict social codes as all Mycogenian women, her character displayed slightly more flexibility and less overt anxiety when faced with the unprecedented situation of interacting with outsiders. Her involvement in the events was peripheral, primarily serving as a supportive, and at times amused, counterpart to her more severe sister.
