Robot Dreams is a science-fiction short story collection written by Isaac Asimov. It was first published in November 1986. The book's cover and illustrations were created by Ralph McQuarrie of Star Wars fame. The title story was written specifically for the collection, as was the introduction to the volume. All of the other stories were previously published elsewhere beforehand.
A companion book entitled Robot Visions was published in 1990. It also contains illustrations by McQuarrie
