Asimov

Sander Nee is a character in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.

About Sander[]

Sander Nee is a member of the Joranumite Guard on Trantor. A low-ranking member of the Joranumite movement, Sander Nee was tasked with indoctrinating and guarding prisoners within the organization's makeshift holding cells in the Billibotton Sector of Dahl. He is characterized by his strong Dahlite accent and his recitation of memorized, dogmatic speeches on Dahlite behavior and the need to prove themselves worthy of equality through "decency." He was the initial interrogator of Raych Seldon after his capture. Nee was skeptical of Raych's claims of connection to important figures but was convinced to pass along Raych's message, which included the name "Hari Seldon" and the word "psychohistory", to his superiors after Raych mentioned the famous Dahlite Yugo Amaryl, a story well-known among the heatsinkers workers.
