Santirix Gremionis is a character from Isaac Asimov's Robot series.
About Santirix[]
Santirix Gremionis was a Spacer from the planet Aurora, he was an artist known for his work in personal appearance design, including hairstyling and clothing aesthetics. He first became notable for his persistent romantic pursuit of Gladia Delmarre during the investigation into the deactivation of the humaniform robot Jander Panell. His association with Dr. Vasilia Aliena, daughter of Dr. Han Fastolfe, initially raised suspicions about his possible involvement in the conspiracy against Fastolfe, but he was cleared of any wrongdoing by Elijah Baley's investigation.
Following these events, Gremionis married Gladia Delmarre. Their marriage lasted nearly two centuries, consistent with Spacer lifespan, though it was characterized as emotionally unfulfilling. The union produced two children: a son named Darrel and another child whose name was not recorded. Gremionis represented conventional Auroran social values throughout his life, maintaining the typical Spacer aversion to physical contact and emotional expressiveness. His marriage to Gladia eventually ended, and a few decades later she formed a relationship with Daneel Giskard Baley, a Settler descendant of Elijah Baley. The marriage, despite it dissolving, was considered a "great success" by Gladia, and she remembered it fondly.
During the events of The Robots of Dawn, Gremionis was wearing a mustache, but Gladia insisted on him removing it upon accepting his proposal of marriage.
