About Jencus[]
Ull Jencus is a semi-trained medical practitioner in a Florinian village on the planet Florina. Jencus, having spent time as an apprentice in a City hospital, was the closest individual to a doctor in his community, exempted from farm or mill work to serve as a medic. His duties included treating minor ailments, administering injections, and determining when serious cases required transfer to the City hospital.
He was summoned by Townman Myrlyn Terens after the children of the village, led by Rasie, discovered an unconscious and disoriented stranger, later known as Rik. Jencus assisted Terens in cleaning the foundling and conducted a physical examination, concluding the man had no visible infection but seemed to have the mind of an infant. He expressed uncertainty about the cause and advised that the patrollers should be notified. When the patrollers arrived, Jencus informed them that the man had no identification and appeared to have "no mind."
