About Wotex[]
Wotex is a world with a population and government distinct from Florina and Sark, as its citizens are considered "foreigners" when visiting Florina. It is accessible via standard commercial spaceliner travel from Florina's main spaceport.
The planet was used as part of a cover story by the Trantorian agent known as the Baker, who provided the Florinian fugitives Valona March and Rik with false identities as a brother and sister from Wotex who were visiting Florina. They were given passports and reservations for a ship to Wotex in an attempt to smuggle them off-planet. The name was also used by the fugitive Townman, Myrlyn Terens, when inquiring after the pair at the spaceport.
